Joe at Shakespeares did us proud on the 30th June, Armed Forces Day Get Together, some great food and plenty of support from the local community was evident to make the afternoon a success.

Thanks to Joe and his staff for all there efforts in making Armed Forces Day on Koh Samui an enjoyable day for all.

This month we will be visiting The Red Fox in Lamai on Tuesday the 7th August from 4:30 pm onwards. No doubt, Alan, our host will as ever produce fare fit for Kings, don't miss it!

Samui Ex Servicemen Get Together July 2012

Last month we visited MnM's in Bang Rak for the first time and were warmly welcomed by Mario and his staff who treated us to some great Fish and Chips. Thanks to all who could make it and a big thak you to Mario and his staff.

Our next get together will be on Armed Forces Day, Saturday the 30th June 2012 at Shakespeare's Bar in Bang Rak.

It's an opportunity to do two things.

Firstly, to raise public awareness of the contribution made to our country by those who serve and have served in Her Majesty's Armed Forces.

Secondly, it gives the everybody an opportunity to Show Their Support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families and from veterans to cadets.

Look forward to seeing you, your family and friends at Shakespeare's Bar in Bang Rak on SATURDAY the 30th JUNE from 4 pm onwards

Samui Ex Servicemen June 2012 Get Together

Last month we all met up at Lord's Bar and Grill and were made very welcome by Andy and his Staff not only did Andy provide us with some very tasty sausage and mash but also later in the evening laid on some live music. Thanks to all who came and hope you had a good time .

On June the 5th we will, for the first time, visit M n M's bar in Bang Rak from 4:30 pm onwards.

Samui Ex Servicemen May 2012 Get Together

Thanks to Joe at Shakespeare's for hosting the April Get Together. He made a great Shepherds Pie that tasted so good most people thought it must have been made from Real Shepherds!

We welcomed a few new ex servicemen and hopefully some of them can make it along next time.

The upcoming get together will be at Lords Bar and Grill in Choeng Mon this coming Tuesday the 1st May from 4:30 pm onwards.

Samui Ex Servicemen April 2012 Get Together

Thanks to everybody who made it to The Red Fox in Lamai in March where we enjoyed some of Alan's excellent food and a few beers. Thanks to Alan and his staff for making it another enjoyable evening.

The April 2012 get together will be at a new venue, Shakespeare's, located on the Ghost Road between Bang Rak and Chaweng about 1km up on the right hand side look out for the white sign. Plenty of off road parking is available.

Owned and operated by Joe formerly of the Cork and Cask it would be great to see you there this Tuesday the 3rd April from 4:30pm onwards.

A Big Thanks to Alan at the Red Fox in Lamai for hosting February's get together as ever a great spread, alas due to holidays, family visits, work commitments and illness not too many came along.

So for the first time in five years we are are going to visit the same venue in consecutive months. Hopefully more people can make it to The Red Fox in Lamai this Tuesday the 6th March from 4:30 pm onwards. Come and support the Samui Ex Servicemen and Alan at The Red Fox.

I hope as many people as possible can make it to Lamai on Tuesday.
